Rich Larsen began his career path in the Power Industry holding many positions in what is now Rocky Mountain Power. He started as a warehouseman and moved up to be an estimator, Transmission Drafter, and ended up a Senior Substation Designer. After declining an offer to move to Portland in order to remain with PacifiCorp, his work continued in the Power Utility Industry also giving him the chance to learn some mining power distribution, industrial controls, and most recently having the opportunity to learn the commercial and residential power field. Rich takes a lot of pride in his job and in passing the many transmission lines and substations that he’s had a part in designing or modifying. When away from work, Rich enjoys tinkering around the house/ yard and on his vehicles. He also loves attending his grandkid’s games and performances. Lastly, he likes helping Santa Claus at Christmas time!
